Trafford Centre teams up with Manchester Foundation Trust Charity for Christmas Toy Appeal, delivering gifts and festive experiences to young patients at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.

Trafford Centre has partnered with Manchester Foundation Trust Charity to help bring festive cheer to children and young people spending time in hospital this Christmas.

Through its Christmas Toy Appeal, visitors and colleagues have been donating gifts to ensure young patients can experience some Christmas magic. Recently, members of the Trafford Centre team, alongside Santa and his elf, visited Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital to deliver toys already collected and spread festive cheer across the wards.

The initiative also includes private visits to Trafford Centre’s Grotto experience for a number of young patients and their families.

Running until 19 December, the appeal continues to collect gifts at Guest Services, with particular need for presents suitable for teenagers, under-3s and sensory toys. The campaign highlights the important role retail destinations can play in supporting local communities and making a positive social impact.
